Join me at Blog Camp 2011 with Ashley’s Bride Guide!

Thursday, November 3rd, 2011

I’ve learned quite a bit about social media and blogging, specifically, since I launched Becoming Mrs. Dial, just over 2 years ago. The inspiration behind starting this blog (aside from getting engaged, of course) is Ashley King, the amazing woman behind Ashley’s Bride Guide. I’m honored to call her a friend and SO excited that she’s asked me to be on the panel of her expert speakers for her upcoming Blog Camp for wedding professionals. To learn more about this workshop, click the badge located on the right sidebar. —–>

Ashley will be covering an incredible variety of topics, so whether you’re a seasoned blogger or you’re still not quite sure what all the fuss is about with social media, it will be well worth your money to attend the event and learn from the panel she’s put together.

I’ll be discussing best practices with Twitter, Facebook fan pages and Google+.

Here’s what attendees had to say about Ashley’s last Blog Camp:

100th POST! Interrupting our wedding recap to bring you a SUPER cool wedding video

Friday, July 30th, 2010

I’m excited to say this is my 100th post on Becoming Mrs. Dial! It’s been an amazing year and I have many more exciting things to share with you! Thanks for coming along for the ride. :)

Thanks to Twitter (and @GuyKawasaki), I find neat stuff like this to share with you all. Watch the whole thing. Seriously. What a FUN, UNIQUE, ARTSY wedding video. And the Passion Pit song is PERFECT. Cookiecutter is boring. Be different. Be yourself. LOVE it.

We’re headed off to Chicago this weekend for a bridal shower. Bridesmaid Stephanie is getting married in September, so now I get to be a bridesmaid for her! Stay tuned for bridal shower coverage and more of our wedding recap!

Love, Mrs. Dial

AshleysBrideGuide’s blog camp: Social media for Nashville brides & wedding vendors

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

Why is social media important for brides and wedding vendors? from becomingmrsdial.com on Vimeo.

I’ve spent the past two Sunday afternoons at aloft Hotel, just a few miles south of Nashville, TN, for a blog camp presented by Ashley of AshleysBrideGuide.com.

In order of appearance in the video we have…

Me :)
Ashley King – AshleysBrideGuide
Amy Parman – Williamson County Weddings & Events
Latrice Cushenberry – Bridal Opulence
Emily Humphries – Simply Yours Weddings & Etc.

I really enjoyed meeting all the folks at this blog camp. Ashley shared some very helpful information with us and we all walked away excited about taking our blogging and social media efforts to the next level.

Just an FYI, the video playback was kind of slow on my end, so I hope you have a faster Internet connection and can watch it easily. Enjoy!
